Hidden Rock Farms

Hidden Rock Farms is owned and operated by Todd and Jeanne Totman. We produce a variety of fresh garden vegetables as well as pastured poultry, grass fed lamb, red veal and a pig or two. We bought our small farm in May 2004 and started out raising 25 broilers that fall as a project to see if we could grow our own food. When we tasted the results, we were hooked. We had never tasted such tender and delicious chicken! The Spring of 2005 saw us getting a garden ready and starting to reclaim the land from an overgrowth of sumac and goldenrod. We did this without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or any other chemical inputs. Our first harvest came in during the summer and we learned along the way. (more...)
