About Us
The Kalamazoo Farmers Market can trace its roots all the way back to 1913, but we've been at our current location at 1204 Bank Street since 1947. Every week, we feature more than 100 local farmers, artisans, and food producers, most of whom are operating within 60 miles of Kalamazoo! You can visit us every Saturday from May through November to meet your farmer and support local businesses.
We accept multiple forms of food assistance currencies, such as EBT, WIC and SENIOR Project Fresh, and Hoophouses for Health. Those using EBT can also participate in Double Up Food Bucks, which matches dollar-for-dollar up to $20 for Michigan grown fresh fruits and vegetables. It's a win-win situation, giving low-income folks increased access to healthy food, while also helping farmers sell more and keeping more money in our local economy.
