Local Growers' Network (L.G.N.) Farmstand

L.G.N. is made up of a number of member growers who produce a wide variety of fresh, local food. L.G.N. provides market opportunities (including a point of sale), as well as marketing, promotion and media exposure to form a bridge helping small growers get started in the business of growing and selling produce and be successful enough in their venture to stick with it. We want to respond to the local food movement and focus on creating a profitable market niche by offering the stimulus to reinvigorate the small farm with the full realization that a small farmer-based rural economy provides the basis for strong national economic development. This is done through weekly email sales, distributed at Vintages Tasting Room (57 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg) and a weekend farm stand at Oak Run, near the golf course in Dahinda.
