Limestone Meathouse is the culmination of four generations of meat slaughter and processing. In 1996 Aubrey Connell opened the business after learning firsthand from his father, Edgar Connell, who was taught by his father, Johnny Connell, the art of custom slaughter and sausage making. Today, Aubreys Son, Jason Connell, continues to hone the art of sausage making and manages this segment of the business. Limestone Meathouse products are smoked with only real wood with no artificial smoke used just like the original recipe handed down for generations.
Limestone Meathouse offers custom processing of deer, hogs and cattle. We offer 24-7 drop off on the premises. All deer and wild hogs must be field dressed, cut up, iced down and placed in a cooler prior to drop-off. Domestic cows and hogs must be delivered live for slaughter and appointments are preferred for the live animals.
